The Christians that meet at Whipton Chapel aim to meet in a way that follows the simple pattern that is set out in the New Testament of the Bible. In Acts chapter 2 v 42 it states that the first Christians "continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread and in prayers". We believe that the Bible is the Word of God and that through it people can find the way to peace with God and forgiveness of sins through faith in Jesus Christ.

The Bible tells us in John chapter 3 v 16 that:

"For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life"

Every Sunday evening at 6.30pm we hold a meeting to explain what the Bible teaches about God's plan of salvation. This we call the Gospel, which means Good News as the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is the good news of God's love towards us in the giving of His Son to die for us at Calvary.
