Wednesday Club or Treasure Hunters

    Each Wednesday evening during term time there is a club for children aged between 4 and 11 years old. We offer a 'pick up' service in our minibus and each week there is a variety of activities including Bible stories, quizzes, Bible songs, cooking, craft and games. Friday Club or Way Finders

    Each Friday evening during term time there is a club for children aged 12 years old and over. Again we offer a 'pick up' service in our minibus and each week there is a variety of games and a short talk about the Bible. Dartmoor Christian Camp

    Each summer we take a group of young people who have attended the clubs during the year for a weeks activity holiday on Dartmoor. We stay at Heatree Activity Centre which is near Hound Tor. Each morning there is quiet time where in small groups a part of the Bible is considered. Last year we looked at the life of Elisha found in the book of Kings. Each evening there is a camp circle where we come together as group to sing and hear about God's love and salvation as found in the Bible.

    During each day there is a program of outdoor activities such as caving, swiming, kayacking, climbing, bike riding and much more. Within teams there is a competition that runs throughout the week where points are gained through sporting events, duties and room inspections.

    There is a varied menu of good home cooked food and the cost is subsidised by the christians that meet at Whipton Chapel and those who go to Belmont Hall, Harrow, with whom the camp is run.
